Licensing

We no longer issue temporary licences for renewal applications.

A renewal application should be submitted:

• up to 10 weeks before a licence expires
• no later than 3 weeks before a licence expires

If you apply late, we will process your application as soon as possible. However, we might not be able to renew your licence before your current one expires.

Licensing service updates will continue to be posted on the Taxi and private hire bulletin including service updates.
