Licensing

COVID-19 service disruption

In light of recent events with regards to COVID-19, our offices are temporarily closed and all licensing staff are currently working from home. Officers are available by email only.

We are aware that this will have an impact on the service that we can provide within Licensing, and appreciate how frustrating this will be.

At this time we are only able to accept applications made via the GOV.UK website (where applicable) or via email at licensing@birmingham.gov.uk. We will aim to respond to your email as soon as we can.

Please note as a temporary interim measure all licensing service updates will be posted on the Taxi and private hire bulletin.

We are working hard to keep the disruption to a minimum, and kindly ask for your patience.

Please note: The DBS checking service run by Occupational Health is back up and running and you can now apply for your DBS check
