Customer Service Centre appointments

In response to the new December 2021 government guidance to ‘work from home The Neighbourhood Office Team will be operating a “closed door, pre-booked appointment and Local Welfare Provision collection service only” service from Monday 20 December 2021. If you have a pre-booked appointment or you are collecting a Local Welfare Provision card please knock and our security guard will allow access to the building. Please do not knock in any other circumstances.
If you do not have an appointment please telephone the council’s corporate contact centre on 0121 216 3030 for telephone advice. Only if you enquiry is particularly complex and cannot be resolved by telephone will you be offered a face to face appointment at the next opportunity.

We sincerely apologise for any additional inconvenience caused to our customers and we very much hope to return to a full open-door service as soon as possible.

Christmas & New Year Closure
This office will be closed on the following dates:

• 3rd January 2022

If you are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless please telephone 0121 303 7410 or complete the ‘Housing Assessment’ form on the City Council website.

If you have borrowed from a loan shark or are worried about someone else, the Illegal Money Lending Team can help and keep you safe.  They will provide you with emotional and practical support that is tailored to your needs.
