ECO4 and Great British Insulation Scheme

The ECO4 Flex Scheme was closed to new applications following the Chancellor’s 2025 Autumn Budget.

The Great British Insulation Scheme also ended on 31 March 2026.

The government confirmed the end of the green levy. This means our partners, City Energy and Next Energy, can no longer get funding from energy companies to complete installations for new applicants.

ECO4 will continue nationally until December 2026 to only allow energy suppliers to complete outstanding remedial works and cover any overspend in their current targets.
