Primary and secondary education sufficiency requirements for November to December 2016
As a Council, we must make sure that there are enough school places for all Birmingham’s children and young people, without making more places than are needed.
To do this, we need to know how many school places will be available at schools not maintained by the Council, such as free schools and academies. We also need to be able to forecast how many school places we will need at the start of each school year and for students transferring between schools during the year.
