Homes for Ukraine privacy notice for Sponsors and Guests

Who we are

Birmingham City Council (BCC) collects, uses, and is responsible for certain personal information about you.

When we do so, we are regulated under the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information.

Birmingham City Council will work with you under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme.

As a local authority, BCC will process your personal data to forward it to our main provider in Birmingham that administers the Homes for Ukraine Scheme so that we and they can complete all the necessary processes.

BCC may also process your personal data to provide interpreting services and provide support and assistance to access relevant services.

We keep this privacy notice under regular review.

This privacy notice will inform you as to how we look after your personal data and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
