Parliamentary General Election
Parliamentary Elections must be held at least every 5 years. They can be called earlier.
The last General Election was held on Thursday 4 July 2024. The next one must be called within 5 years. This means the latest date for the next General Election will be 15 August 2029.
There are 10 constituencies in Birmingham:
- Birmingham Edgbaston
- Birmingham Erdington
- Birmingham Hall Green and Moseley
- Birmingham Hodge Hill and Solihull North (this includes a couple of wards from Solihull MBC)
- Birmingham Ladywood
- Birmingham Northfield
- Birmingham Perry Barr
- Birmingham Selly Oak
- Birmingham Yardley
- Sutton Coldfield
