What we do to support asylum seekers, refugees and migrants

English for speakers of other languages

Our English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) courses support English language skills, IT skills and preparation for employment.

Our courses are for people who are:

  • new to English
  • know some English, but want to develop their skills

We offer courses in centres across Birmingham.

Birmingham Adult Education Services has developed an ESOL hub, a specialist website that supports and directs English language learners. Visit the ESOL hub.
