Providing safe and inclusive environments

Schools and colleges play an important part in welcoming refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants to our city, enabling integration and unlocking potential.

Many Birmingham schools provide English as Additional Language, EAL, and in our colleges, English for Speakers of Other Languages, ESOL.

Below are links to websites that provide information, guidance, and resources for schools and colleges that welcome children and young people who are newly arrived, or from refugee/migrant backgrounds.
