Get married or register a civil partnership at an approved Birmingham venue

You can get married or register your civil partnership at an approved premise (venue). If you do, there must not be any religious wording or content in your ceremony.

There will be a fee for the ceremony and additional fees for the venue you choose. Fees are shown below.

All fees are subject to change on 1 April each year

Once you have chosen the venue

You should contact them directly to agree the day and time for your ceremony. Their ceremony representative will issue you with an approval premises advanced booking form.

When you have the form, you will need to send the following to the Birmingham Register Office:

  • your completed approved premises advanced booking form
  • your booking fees, as applicable, according to the table above

We accept cheques by post, or we can take payment by credit/debit card over the phone when we receive your completed form.

We cannot accept cash payments.
