To book a ceremony at Birmingham Register Office, email CeremonyBookings@birmingham.gov.uk.

We will phone you after processing your completed form to take payment by debit or credit card.

If you'd like your ceremony to be held at Birmingham Register Office and you are attending our office to give notice of your intention to marry or register a civil partnership, you can book your ceremony at your appointment if your ceremony will take place within 12 months of your appointment.

Getting your marriage or civil partnership certificate

You can choose how your certificate is posted:

Option 1: Tracked delivery (recommended)

  • Sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48
  • Costs £7.00
  • You can track your delivery
  • If it gets lost during delivery, we can send you a replacement at no additional cost.

Option 2: Standard delivery

  • Costs £4.00
  • You will not be able to track your delivery
  • If it gets lost during delivery, we can not issue a replacement. You will need to order a new one and pay again.
