Book a ceremony at Birmingham Register Office

The table below lists costs for ceremonies at Birmingham Register Office:

Item April 2023 to March 2024
Notice per couple £82 (includes a £6 advice fee per person)
Statutory ceremony from £57 (see separate pages)
Ceremony in ceremony suite from £205 to £483 (see separate pages)
A marriage or civil partnership certificate

£11 (per certificate)

To book a ceremony at Birmingham Register Office you will need to return a completed Ceremony Suite Advanced Booking Form by email to APcoordinator@birmingham.gov.uk

The booking fee depends on when your ceremony will take place:

  • £71 for ceremonies within 12 months of the booking date
  • £142 for ceremonies between 1 and 3 years of the booking date.

We will phone you after processing your completed form to take payment by debit or credit card.

If you'd like your ceremony to be held at Birmingham Register Office and you are attending our office to give notice of your intention to marry or register a civil partnership, you can book your ceremony at your appointment if your ceremony will take place within 12 months of your appointment.
