Book a ceremony

To book a ceremony at Birmingham Register Office, email CeremonyBookings@birmingham.gov.uk.

We will phone you after we have processed your completed form to take payment by debit or credit card.

If you want your ceremony at Birmingham Register Office and you are attending to give notice of your intention to marry or register a civil partnership, you can book your ceremony at that appointment if it will take place within 12 months.

Getting your marriage or civil partnership certificate

You can choose how your certificate is posted.

Tracked delivery (recommended)

  • Sent using Royal Mail Tracked 48
  • Costs £7.35
  • You can track your delivery
  • If it gets lost during delivery, we can send you a replacement at no extra cost

Standard delivery

  • Costs £4.50
  • You will not be able to track your delivery
  • If it is lost during delivery, we cannot issue a replacement. You will need to order a new one and pay for a new certificate
