Get married or register a civil partnership at an approved Birmingham venue

You can get married or register your civil partnership at an approved premise (venue). Your ceremony must not include any religious wording or content.

There is a fee for the ceremony and additional fees charged by the venue. Fees are shown in the tables on this page. All fees are subject to change on 1 April each year.

After you have chosen your venue

You should contact your chosen venue directly to agree the day and time of your ceremony. Their ceremony representative will give you an approval premises advanced booking form.

When you have the form, you must send the following to the Birmingham Register Office:

  • your completed approved premises advanced booking form
  • your booking fees, based on the tables on this page

We accept cheques by post. We can also take payment by debit or credit card over the phone when we receive your completed form.

We cannot accept cash payments.
