Statutory ceremony

The statutory ceremony is perfect for simple marriage and civil partnership ceremonies, and fulfils the legal obligations required by law. It costs £57, which includes one marriage certificate. Additional marriage certificates cost £11 each.

It will take place in a working office (i.e. there will be a desk, chair, cabinets, etc). There is no provision for music or photography in this room.

Only two guests can be in attendance; these two guests will act as the couple’s witnesses, and must both be able to speak and understand English

During the ceremony you will make vows and exchange rings.

Ceremonies usually take place on a Tuesday, however other days may occasionally be available.
