Pay Council Tax by Direct Debit
You can pay your council tax by Direct Debit.
Paying by direct debit means that your money will automatically be paid to us from your bank account.
Please complete and submit the online Direct Debit form and we will do the rest.
You will need the following items before you start:
- your Council Tax billing reference number
- your bank account number and sort code (you must be the holder of the bank account and authorised to set up a Direct Debit)
Council Tax is usually split into 10 equal monthly payments. However, you can choose to spread the payments over 12 months.
Set up or amend a Direct Debit.
To view your bills and payments online, you will need to sign in or register for a BRUM account.
There is more information about direct debits on the Direct Debit website.
If you are already paying by Direct Debit
If you already pay by Direct Debit and have a BRUM account, you can go straight to your Council Tax online account.
