Access for People with Disabilities - Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)
The Access for People with Disabilities document provides guidance about how to make new developments accessible to all. Specific groups of people may find it particularly helpful to have more accessible public buildings, such as the elderly, those with children and buggies, and people with learning or language difficulties, as well as those with sensory or mobility impairments.
Other organisations can also offer advice.
