National information requirements
These apply to all applications. You can see them and apply online via the planning portal. Your application must meet these requirements, or it cannot be processed.
Local information requirements
In addition to the national requirements, the council identifies the information we need to register, assess and determine your planning application. View our Local Information Requirements list.
Planning application checklists for different types of application have also been created to assist applicants.
To assist the submission of information/ statements required to support planning applications, the council has produced a number of guidance documents.
