The Supplier Skills Programme (SSP)

With immediate effect, the Supplier Skills Programme (SSP) has closed, and no further SSP applications will be accepted.

The Supplier Skills Programme (SSP) was part funded by European Social Fund and managed by Birmingham City Council BDI team.

We will be in touch with the small to medium enterprises (SMEs) that have previously applied for SSP grant funding shortly.

We have recently launched 2 new grant funding programmes for businesses. These programmes are:

These 2 programmes are funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and were released on 3 April 2023.

The WMGP is designed to support start-ups and existing SMEs with their growth plans, while the NZGP aims to support businesses in making significant changes to resource and energy efficiencies in their business.

You can receive an application form for each programme by emailing wmgp@birmingham.gov.uk.

Before applying, check the eligibility criteria on the relevant webpages to make sure your business qualifies for consideration.
