We are very competitive on price and provide a tailored service to meet your needs!

Our current options include the following but we would be pleased to consider your ideas too:

  • Online only adverts
    These can be published within 2 working days of us receiving your advert, subject to our internal checks. We recommend that your advert closing date is at least 7 working days after it has been published online.
  • Links to your website
    We are also able to provide a direct online link to your organisation.


Our price is £120 + VAT* for your first vacancy advert but if you have a campaign or want to advertise multiple adverts throughout a 12 month period, we can offer a package of 10 roles for £600.

*VAT is not applicable if you have charitable status.

Schools job vacancy adverts

Our team of experts provide an all-year round, one-stop service to schools, academies and external organisations wishing to advertise teaching or support staff vacancies.

We will discuss options for increasing the exposure of adverts, offering advice on the most suitable media according to your needs and budget.

Advertising options

  • Teaching and Support Staff adverts are published all-year round on the Birmingham City Council website. In the first quarter of 2019 the vacancies directory page has received over 113,000 individual page hits, and continues to be the most popular page with job seekers and the most cost effective place for schools to recruit to their teaching and support staff roles. Once we have received your advert, using the form below the team will aim to make it live and available to jobseekers within 48 hours.
  • – a local public sector jobsite
  • External media as required, including the Times Education Supplement (TES), Birmingham Mail, Guardian and other local and national publications

We post weekly alerts on Twitter for you to follow.

We also offer an extended recruitment service, known as ‘Post Box’. This popular service saves schools valuable time spent on response handling applications, creating shortlisting paperwork, chasing references and sending interview invites/rejection letters, as we are able to do this on a school's behalf.
