Thank you for your interest in our vacancies.  Birmingham is a place with an impressive past and its citizens deserve an impressive future.

Birmingham is going through a renaissance, seeing tremendous growth and regeneration. The city is hosting the 2022 Commonwealth Games, but this is just the start. The Games is a stepping stone. We also have HS2 and a significant economic growth agenda in the West Midlands.

Birmingham City Council is very much on a journey of improvement.  We are getting the council’s finances back on track and we will continue to work with partners and peers on this, as we are determined to return Birmingham to its rightful place within the local government family.

We are looking to enhance the team that will help us to transform the council and we are determined to get the right people in place.

You will need to be excited by the opportunity, and will also need to understand that you are joining us at the beginning of a journey, which is going to be hard, hard work.

So if you are excited by one of our opportunities and want to make a positive difference every day to the lives of the people who live and work in Birmingham, please apply for one of the roles and be part of our team.
