Housing and employment land availability assessment - Call for sites

The council recently provided the opportunity for sites to be submitted for us to consider their potential to be allocated for development in the new Birmingham Local Plan.

The window of opportunity to submit sites closed on 31 July 2023.

We are reviewing the sites that were submitted, and will set out our findings in the 2023 version of the Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment, which we will publish in the Autumn.

We will reopen the call for sites soon. New submissions will be considered in the 2024 version of the Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment.
