Estimated timescales for new build

  • a cabinet report was approved on 26 July 2016 for the appointment of the Housing Developer.  Kier Living Limited have now been appointed and will be required to obtain reserved matters planning approval for a detailed scheme. It is anticipated that they will start on site in early 2017
  • marketing for the retail site started in March 2016, evaluations have been undertaken, this is followed by a process of due diligence before approval to appoint a retail developer will be gained
  • after which the retail developer will apply for planning permission before work would commence on the retail development.
