Staying safe

Birmingham City Council wants to ensure that all OOSS are a safe place for our children and young people to be.

While there are numerous examples of excellent local practice, Birmingham is working to ensure we keep all young people safe by:

  • Making sure all OOSS premises are safe. 
  • Making sure all staff including volunteers are suitable to work with children and young people.
