Industrial action - collections update

We apologise for the current disruption to collections due to industrial action by Unite the union. Find out the latest on the dispute and which areas we plan to collect bins from this week

School uniforms

School Governing Bodies are responsible for deciding whether pupils should wear a school uniform.

Generally, school uniforms should be available in high street shops and other retail outlets, rather than from just one supplier. Schools should also offer arrangements so that no family feels unable to apply for a place for their child because of the cost of the uniform.

If you're a parent and you have a question about school uniforms, you should contact the individual school for details of their uniform policy and any sports kits.
