City-wide EV charging network

Priority areas for fast and rapid hub charge point deployment has been identified based on the density of:

  • Traffic flow on local roads to account for en-route charging
  • Amenities for destination charging
  • Housing with a reliance on on-street parking
  • Taxi ranks, as a high mileage user group

The below map shows areas of high projected demand and therefore the highest priority areas for deploying fast and rapid charging infrastructure. Residential area charge points to enable overnight charging will be prioritised across the city where there is little or no off-street parking.
