Book a bulky waste collection

We can collect bulky waste that won’t fit in your bin.

Collections cost £23 if you book online, or £25 if you book over the phone.

We will take up to six items for each collection you book. Three bin bags count as one item, so you can have up to 18 bin bags collected.

If you are having white goods and other items collected, we may arrange to pick the white goods up on a different day. This won't cost you extra.

You will need an online account to book a bulky waste collection . Create an account if you don't already have one.

Please note: Any amendments to bulky waste items must be made 2 days before your collection date.

Book a collection

Where to put your items on collection day:

  • Put all items  together at the front of your  property and as close to the kerbside as possible (not on the pavement).
  • Put your items out before 6am on the day of collection, but after 3:30pm on the day before collection.
  • If your items need to be placed in your front garden, please tell us in the ‘any other information’ section on the form.
  • Make sure all the items can be easily seen by our collection team.

Items are normally collected between 6am and 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Consider donating to a reuse charity

If you have furniture that is clean, in a reasonable and reusable condition it may be suitable to donate.

The ReUsers shop adjacent to the recycling centre at Norris Way, Sutton Coldfield provides a place to donate your unwanted items that are too good to throw away.

CT Furniture is a charity that will collect items free of charge from residents across the West Midlands.  Reusing helps the environment as well as being a great way to benefit the local community.

Freegle is a UK organisation that aims to increase reuse and reduce landfill by offering a free Internet-based service where people can both, give away and ask for things that would otherwise be thrown away.
