How to book a bulky waste collection
You can book a bulky waste collection online by signing up through your BRUM account. If you do not already have an account, you will need to create one.
You can also book by calling us. You can only pay by debit or credit card.
Where to put your items on collection day
Put all your items for collection together at the front of your property. Leave them as close to the kerbside as possible.
Where possible, please do not put your items on the pavement. We understand there may be times where it is necessary to do so, for example, if you live in a terraced property which opens straight onto the pavement with no front garden.
You must leave the items safely and not block any pedestrian access. Make sure all the items can be easily seen by our collection team.
You must leave all your items for collection in a neat and tidy pile. This makes it easier for our collection team to identify and pick up.
If you have mobility issues
We offer an assisted service for people with mobility issues. We can arrange to have your collection picked up just outside your property, for example, by the front door or side door.
If you live in a flat, we cannot enter any communal areas. Please make sure that you leave your collection in an accessible location.
You can request an assisted collection when you make your appointment.
How to cancel your collection appointment
If you want to cancel your appointment, you must do this at least 2 working days before. You will receive a refund if you cancel at least 2 working days before the appointment.
