Council Tax bands and charges

How much Council Tax you pay is based on the council tax band your property is in. The council tax band for your home is shown on your council tax bill or GOV.UK also helps you find out this information. Just put your postcode into their online tool to find the band for your home. Find your Council Tax band on the GOV.UK website

If you believe your home is not in the correct band, guidance is available on the GOV.UK website about the circumstances the Valuation Office Agency can review.
