The Library of Birmingham - a new Central Library
- will be developed on land adjoining The REP, with the library and theatre joining together and sharing a number of facilities to create a unique centre for knowledge, learning and culture

Birmingham Central Library is one of the largest and most important public libraries in Europe.
Collections in this library have been designated as outstanding collections by the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council.
There are eight floors available for public use and material is divided into areas broadly along subject lines.
