Wellbeing Zone information
The Wellbeing Zone, situated on the ground floor, at the Library of Birmingham is now open for people to explore.
The zone has comfortable seating, some work areas, and of course, lots of information around health and wellbeing. It also has a wellbeing machine that’ll measure your blood pressure, heart rate, height, body mass index (BMI), and weight – for free! So when you’re visiting the library, pop in and see what it is all about.
If you would like to book the space, get in touch with us by emailing enquiries@libraryofbirmingham.com. The space is free and suitable for many events that help meet the health and wellbeing needs of the city. There is an area that allows for presentations, two lockable rooms for appointments, two toilets, and plenty of space to arrange useful materials.
We welcome interest from any organisations and individuals whose event would deliver to any of the five core themes of the Birmingham Health and Wellbeing Strategy: Be Bold, Be Birmingham:
- Health and Affordable Food
- Mental Wellbeing and Balance
- Active at Every Age and Ability
- Contributing to a Green and Sustainable Future
- Protect and Detect
