Overview

Our free eLibrary is available 24/7 and is designed to be used by library members without the need to visit the Library. We have available a range of fiction and non-fiction eBooks, eAudiobooks, as well as eMagazines, eNewspapers and eComics.

eNewspapers can be accessed via Pressreader, which can be found in the "Extras" section on the Libby app main page.

eBooks and eAudiobooks

You can download to your Android Tablet/phone, Apple iPad/iPhone or mobile phone, Windows 10 PC/phone/tablet via their apps. We do not yet have a licence for use with a Kindle in the UK.

You can:

  • Loan up to 7 eBooks/eAudiobooks at any one time.
  • 14 to 21-day loan period.
  • No fines as items automatically returned at the end of the loan period.
  • You can review your loan history.
  • Reserve up to 4 books if they are already on loan

eMagazines

  • You can download as many eMagazines as you wish.
  • You can keep them as digital copies as long as you want.
  • New issues of eMagazines can be automatically added to your account for you to read.
