Birmingham Virtual School is proud to partner with Birmingham Careers Service, to ensure all our children have access to high quality careers advice and guidance. in addition to what their own schools and colleges provide.
Each term we offer an inspirational career event. These events bring together local and national businesses, along with public sector representatives, who deliver bespoke workshops and information sessions for our looked after young people. The content is tailored to the feedback they give us about their future aspirations in their pep meetings.

We hope the careers toolbox helps to support young people to think about and apply for, the next steps in their learning.

In particular the publications page where you will find some great resources to support young people think about and apply for the next steps in their learning.
You’ll also find lots of helpful information if you are unsure about post 16 or post 18 options.
For all the up to date information and latest news about careers keep a check on our social media profile as it has lots of career opportunities and information.
A number of young people may still be without a Post-16 provision, and may be wondering how to get help with their future plans.
