We have developed various webinars, which have been well received by both designated teachers, social workers, and carers.
Designated teachers
Our informative training is delivered in 4, hour-long twilight webinars, which we deliver at least twice a year.
These will be highly useful to any new designated teacher, and those supporting the role.
Some of these sessions could also be a great refresher for those who are already established in the role.

Further training events include our annual conference and twice yearly Designated Teacher Network meetings. All are an ideal opportunity to:
- meet with other members of staff in a similar role
- hear the latest updates
- share best practice to support children known to a social worker.
Social workers
BVS deliver 2 webinars for social workers, a termly one focusing on Personal Education Plans (PEPs) and Pupil Premium Plus (PP+) and another around Education Basics delivered at least yearly.
