  • designated teachers for previously looked after children
  • social workers
  • foster carers

  • IROs

We have developed various webinars, which have been well received by both designated teachers, social workers, and carers.

Designated teachers

Our informative training is delivered in 4, hour-long twilight webinars, which we deliver at least twice a year.

These will be highly useful to any new designated teacher, and those supporting the role.

Some of these sessions could also be a great refresher for those who are already established in the role.

  • meet with other members of staff in a similar role

  • share best practice to support children known to a social worker.

Social workers

BVS deliver 2 webinars for social workers, a termly one focusing on Personal Education Plans (PEPs) and Pupil Premium Plus (PP+) and another around Education Basics delivered at least yearly.
