Each edition shares updates on activities, events and opportunities for children in care across Birmingham.
The newsletter celebrates achievements, showcases talents and highlights the work Birmingham Virtual School does to support young people.
Spring term 2026 edition
This edition highlights a full programme of enrichment and opportunities for children and young people in care, including:
- the awards ceremony for young people aged 11 to 18 years
- the WMVS CiC Foundation Wicked Workshop
- the Winner Up! music celebration
- music lessons delivered in partnership with Services For Education
- the Care to Dance creative programme
- free swimming lessons
It also features:
- success stories from recent WMVS podcast workshops
- important updates on nomination processes for the awards ceremony
- information for carers, teachers, social workers and partners on how young people can get involved across the spring term
