About Birmingham Virtual School
Welcome to Birmingham Virtual School.
Our service is a statutory service for all local councils in England.
We focus on the education and welfare of all children and young people who are, or have ever been, known to Birmingham social care, or adoption and kinship care services.
We work in partnership with the child or young person's:
- school
- social worker
- family
- other professionals in Birmingham and other local councils, where children may be placed
