Working people's histories

Kings Norton Library and The Sweet Project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, ran the ‘Working People’s Histories: Primrose, Pool Farm and Hawkesley 1914 to 2014’ project.

The aim of this project was to document and record the lives and experiences of the people that have lived on the Three Estates since it was built in the 1950s.

The project lasted for a year and has now been completed. All of the material, including recordings and documents are available in the Kings Norton Library Local History collection.
