Access to our collections
Local Studies material is available to researchers in the Heritage Research Area. Some material is on open access for researchers to help themselves. Other Local Studies material can usually be retrieved from the stores on demand. For access to all other material, you will need to use the Wolfson Centre for Archival Research.
Our local studies and early and fine print catalogues are available online in the general library catalogue. Our archives catalogues are available online in the archives and heritage catalogue. Additional indexes and catalogues for the local studies collections are available in the Heritage Research Area and additional catalogues and indexes for archives and early and fine print collections are available in the Wolfson Centre.
