Community litter picks

Litter can negatively impact your local community which makes people feel disheartened. By getting together to pick it up it shows pride for your community as well as helping to protect local wildlife.

Litter picks can:

  • bring communities together
  • make a huge difference to your local environment

We have a team called Cleaner Greener Streets who:

  • provide all equipment free of charge
  • jointly agree a convenient location and date to collect the bags

Our Tenant Participation Officers also encourage community litter picks and ask at events, during walkabouts or community projects if anyone is interested.

Once they get a group together, they can take their details and provide equipment.

If you would like to take part in a community litter pick or set one up, email Resident Involvement.
