When we may not be able to provide information
We will not be able to provide the information you ask for in a Freedom of Information (FOI) request if:
- we do not hold the information, for example if it has been destroyed due to data retention policies, or if another public body holds it
- the information requested falls under an exemption of the Freedom of Information Act
- the cost of providing the information exceeds an appropriate limit
- the request has been made repeatedly, or with the aim of frustrating the operations of the council
