Events, school trips and group visits

Our Rangers lead regular events and activities in the park. These are a great opportunity to take an active role in caring for your local park.

Our Rangers can also lead school trips. Curriculum led or you can organise a Ranger-led visit for your community group.

Parks are places of lifelong learning. Our school trips and group events and activities help people gain a better understanding of wildlife and the natural environment. Events and activities can be tailored to school or group requests.

The school activities provided by the Ranger Service all have an environmental theme and can be linked to National Curriculum targets.
