Ongoing individual volunteers

You can volunteer alongside our Park Rangers in a support role, such as Information Officer, Animal Carer, or Assistant Ranger. Training is provided.

You must be 18 or over to volunteer. Younger people can volunteer as part of a recognised award scheme, such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, or come along to one of our Ranger-led volunteering events.

We’ll invite you to an interview to discuss possible roles, time commitments and so on. The interview also gives you an opportunity to find out more about us and our work.

Volunteer agreements and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks

If you want to volunteer on a regular basis we will ask you to sign a volunteer agreement and undergo a criminal records check through the Disclosure and Barring Service.  You can find out more about this in our Volunteer Protocol
