Hire a room

You can email reception.councilhouse@birmingham.gov.uk or phone 0121 303 2054 to hire our rooms.

When you contact reception, let them know your requirements, and they will let you know which options are best for you.

Reception can also give you more information about:

• each room, such as how much they cost to hire, when they are available, and what equipment they come with
• extra equipment which you can hire and how much they cost

Rooms you can hire

There are a variety of rooms you can hire.

Additional security officers are likely needed if meetings are booked outside of 8am to 6pm, which will cost extra.

Committee room 1 (Ellen Pinsent room)

Committee room 1 allows up to 24 people.

It costs £50 an hour to book this room from Monday to Sunday.

Committee room 2

Committee room 2 allows up to 24 people.

It costs £50 an hour to book this room from Monday to Sunday.

Committee rooms 3 and 4

Committee rooms 3 and 4 have a flexible capacity depending on your requirements and layout. The double room allows up to 40 people conference style and 70 people theatre style.

It costs £70 an hour to book this room from Monday to Sunday.

Committee room 5 (HMS Daring room)

Committee room 5 allows up to 16 people.

It costs £50 an hour to book this room from Monday to Sunday.

Committee room 6

Committee room 6 allows up to 24 people.

It costs £50 an hour to book this room from Monday to Sunday.

Committee room 6A

Committee room 6A allows up to 6 people.

It costs £50 an hour to book this room from Monday to Sunday.

Council Chamber

The Council Chamber allows up to 150 people.

It costs:

• £380 to book this room for more than 4 hours between 8am to 6pm from Monday to Friday
• £260 to book this room for up to 4 hours between 8am to 6pm from Monday to Friday
