About the Council House
The Council House is the ideal place to do business in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. It has many rooms for functions, events, and meetings, which makes it the perfect host for any occasion.
The Grade II* listed building, which was built in 1879, is a classical architectural masterpiece and one of the city's most iconic landmarks.
In 2022, the Council House reopened after a multi-million pound refurbishment took place to restore and upgrade facilities.
From the Council Chamber to the Ellen Pinsent room, our range of rooms fit everyone.
At Birmingham City Council, we pride ourselves on our hospitality and look forward to welcoming you and your guests to the Council House.
