Missed bin collections - Industrial Action

We apologise for the current disruption to collections due to industrial action. Please leave out any missed bins and we will collect as soon as possible. View latest updates and collections that have been reported within the last 24 hours

Book a bulky waste collection

Due to the ongoing industrial action we have temporarily suspended new bulky waste collections until further notice.

In the meantime, if you are able, you can take your domestic items to our household recycling centres for disposal, free of charge, find an alternative registered waste collector or wait for our normal service to resume.

For any customers who have already booked we are still attempting to collect items as previously arranged, or we will contact you to rearrange an alternative date for collection.

Donate to a reuse charity

If you have furniture that is clean, in a reasonable and reusable condition it may be suitable to donate.

The ReUsers shop adjacent to the recycling centre at Norris Way, Sutton Coldfield provides a place to donate your unwanted items that are too good to throw away.

CT Furniture is a charity that will collect items free of charge from residents across the West Midlands.  Reusing helps the environment as well as being a great way to benefit the local community.

Freegle is a UK organisation that aims to increase reuse and reduce landfill by offering a free Internet-based service where people can both, give away and ask for things that would otherwise be thrown away.
