Community litter picking

As lockdown restrictions have eased slightly, and individuals, household groups, and groups of up to six people can spend an unlimited amount of time in our parks and outdoor spaces, we can now resume our support to clean-up activities.

In order to do this safely we have been working with Birmingham Open Spaces Forum to agree a “Covid Secure” Operating Procedures and Risk Assessment document that sets out guidance on how volunteers can start to re-engage with the local green space and with each other. The guidance mirrors that being produced nationally by Keep Britain Tidy and is available on the Birmingham Open Spaces Forum website at https://bosf.org.uk/
