Before you apply, check that your property is in a priority area and that you / your household meets the WHLG eligibility criteria.
How to apply
From 1 March 2026, households can use Shared Works Platform to:
- apply for funding
- upload supporting documents
- track application and installation progress
- view proposed measures

After you apply
- We will confirm household eligibility.
- Next Energy will complete an initial retrofit assessment.
- We will inform you about the approved measures.
- If you agree to proceed, we will arrange installation dates.
- After installation, you will receive a handover pack, including manuals, warranties, and guarantees.
- Next Energy will make periodic post‑installation checks.
