  • ‘Walk and Talk’ tours
  • drop-in sessions at the One Stop Shopping Centre
  • targeted discussions with community groups

Around 120 people joined a consultation event or public meeting. Nearly 600 people were reached through drop-in sessions.

Feedback was gathered through:

  • the council’s BeHeard consultation portal
  • a new interactive map platform called StoryMaps
  • printed surveys at local libraries

80 formal responses showed strong support for the Perry Barr 2040: a vision for legacy masterplan.

Young people’s views

A Youth Engagement programme ran alongside the main consultation. 74 young people responded to a survey, sharing how they see Perry Barr now and in the future.
