Area Commissioning Teams – Contact and Care Provider Forum information
All care providers contracted with us are allocated to one of our five area commissioning teams. To find out which team is responsible for your service, look at the details in the care services directory.
Search the directory for care providers with Birmingham City Council contracts.
The area teams can help with enquiries about your service’s contract with us. They are responsible for assessing service quality through the Provider Quality Assurance Statement (PQAS) process. They also arrange care provider forums.

Care Provider Forums
Care provider forums are open to all care providers, including those contracted with us.
The forums are split into 2 categories:
- bed-based – care homes with or without nursing
- home care and supported living
Each category will have 2 provider forums per year.
The forums give care providers the opportunity to engage with area commissioners, other providers and partners on a range of topics. They are also a place to share good news stories and best practice.
