Using the National Express Travel Assist portal

Digital photos

In order to order your child’s Swift card you will need:

  • access to a computer. 
  • a passport style photograph of your child. 
  • the bus pass redemption code (you can find this on your bus pass code letter). 

Unfortunately, the National Express Travel Assist Portal is not mobile friendly.

Rules for digital photos

You can upload photographs in most common image formats (JPEG, BMP, PNG).

Please ensure your photograph meets the following criteria:

  • Be forward facing colour portrait head shot
  • Show only your full uncovered face (no hats, sunglasses or scarves, unless worn for religious reasons)
  • Be taken against a plain white background
  • Be in sharp focus
  • Be unaltered by computer software
  • Not show your shoulders
  • Not be too dark or too light
  • Not contain any other objects or people
  • Not have hair in front of your eyes
  • Not have any shadows on your face or behind you
  • No snapchat or other filters
