Routine repairs to your council home
As Government have lifted restrictions regarding COVID19, we are able to gradually return to completing routine repairs in customers’ homes; our contractors are working hard to complete the non-urgent repair jobs that have been raised over the last 2 months and it is anticipated the full repairs service will return to business as usual by September 2020.
We have made some small changes to the process including maintaining social distancing and ensuring safe working practices, and we are allowing contractors 40 days to carry out these non-urgent repairs
If you are a council tenant and something is broken or not working properly in your home, you can report repairs online. Check what repairs the council is responsible for.
