Ukraine crisis

As people around the world watch what’s happening in Ukraine, Birmingham’s communities are coming together to support international appeals and efforts to help those fleeing war. Details of how to offer support and where to find information and advice can be found on our City of Sanctuary webpage

Talks and guided walks for groups in parks

You can arrange for a Ranger to give your group a guided walk of one of our parks, or to give a talk and presentation.

Talks can be given at our Ranger Hubs or we can come to you. The range of presentations we can offer may depend on the resources available at your location.

Guided walks normally take place at one of the parks below, but please let us know if there is a different park your group would like to visit.

  • Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park
  • Edgbaston Reservoir
  • Kings Heath Park
  • Lickey Hills Country Park
  • Sheldon Country Park
  • Sutton Park National Nature Reserve
  • Woodgate Valley Country Park

A Ranger led walk around a wildlife site or an indoor talk and presentation by Park Ranger costs £78.75 for a 2.5 hour session.  You can choose to have a shorter session, but the full charge will still apply.
